Wissenschaftliche Aktivitäten und Highlights der GTCSG im Jahr 2025

Mit mehr als zehn PubMed-gelisteten Publikationen zu Keimzelltumoren mit Mitgliedern der GTCSG als Erst- oder Letztautoren unterstreicht die Studiengruppe auch im Jahr 2025 ihre hohe wissenschaftliche Produktivität. Die mittlerweile kontinuierliche Einbindung von Patientenvertretende der Stiftung Junge Erwachsene mit Krebs bereichert die Arbeit der Gruppe durch wertvolle Impulse und stellt die Patientenperspektive in allen Projekten sicher. Darüber hinaus leistet das Zweitmeinungsnetzwerk Hodenkrebs mit aktiver Beteiligung zahlreicher GTCSG-Expertinnen und -Experten weiterhin einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Optimierung der Versorgung von Patienten in Deutschland. Derzeit wird die Erstellung einer aktualisierten Leitlinie vorbereitet, die künftig als „Living Guideline“ fortgeführt werden soll.

Die interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit zwischen internistischer Onkologie, Urologie, Strahlentherapie, Radiologie, Pathologie und weiteren Fachdisziplinen ist gelebter Alltag der GTCSG und bildet die Basis für erfolgreiche kliniknahe Forschung. Zentrale Ziele bleiben die Initiierung und Durchführung von multizentrischen Registerprojekten, translationaler Forschung und prospektiver klinischer Studien.

Zu den wichtigsten Aktivitäten und Projekten im Jahr 2025 zählen:

• SAKK 01/18 und Registerplanung: vollständige Rekrutierung der SAKK 01/18 erreicht und Aufbau eines prospektiven Registers zur Abbildung von Deeskalations- und RLA-Konzepten. Präsentation von long-term follow-up Daten der SAKK 01/10 Studie als Vortrag auf dem diesjährigen ESMO-Kongress im Oktober 2025.
• Transformierte Teratome: Präsentation des weltweit größten Registers zu Patienten mit transformierten Teratom die eine gewebespezifische Therapie erhalten haben.
• Palliativregister: Abschluss der Datenerhebung zu palliativen Therapien als weltweit größtes Register, Manuskript erstellt.
• Delphi-Prozess ZNS-Keimzelltumoren (Germinome & Nicht-Germinome): formalisierte Konsensusentwicklung unter breiter interdisziplinärer Beteiligung.
• PRIMETEST II und RAISN: innovative chirurgische Studienkonzepte bei frühen Stadien des Seminoms, ergänzt durch eine geplantes Konsortialprojekt PreventTox zur Erforschung von Langzeittoxizitäten.
• miRNA-Signatur zur Vorhersage von Rezidivem beim Seminom Stadium I: Validierung und Präsentation erster Ergebnisse auf internationalen Kongressen.
• Neue Studieninitiativen: Planung einer Last-line-Studie EMA-EP, Etablierung von Projekten zu ADCs bei Keimzelltumoren und fortlaufende Planung einer De-Eskalationstudie für Patienten mit intermediärer Prognose und niedrigen LDH-Werten.
• Patientenperspektive Hodenprothesen: systematische Aufarbeitung und Vorbereitung eines Leitlinientextes, flankiert durch Patientenmaterialien (Broschüre, Video) in Kooperation mit der Selbsthilfegruppe Junge Erwachsenen mit Krebs.

Die GTCSG wird auch im kommenden Jahr die interdisziplinäre und patientenzentrierte Zusammenarbeit fortführen und ihre Rolle als eine der international aktivsten Studiengruppen im Bereich der Keimzelltumoren weiter ausbauen.
